Popfes 2020 Summer, Eshi100 10, etc

Going out during this period isn’t good idea but some things just must be done (not really).

Anyway, the day started with Popfes. As the entry ticket was numbered, the fate is more or less predetermined. At least they have allocated goods for each entry period but that didn’t help me getting a T-shirt for a friend. I did get my soundtrack though so all is good.

I also ended up buying Kinkoi T-shirt. I’ve been considering it for a while and figured out why not.

On my way out from the event area, I noticed there’s Tora no ana event right next to it.

There’s Aquaplus corner, HOTLIMIT/GOT corner, Tony Taka corner, some doujins, Eshi100 goods, and others.

I didn’t buy anything but at least got to see what kind of censor some of the tapestries have. And it looks like for HOTLIMIT, it’s not whiteout but just some blurs. Better but censor is bad.

Similarly for Cute Tail tapestries. At least from what I can tell from the label photo. Could be different but I’m not risking it.

Eshi100 was next and it’s Eshi100. I don’t think there’s any change (apart of the illustrations themselves of course) over the last few years. If anything, one can’t go back to gallery area after purchasing stuff. Thanks, covid.

As I was heading for Sofmap to check on Sagaplanets stuff, there’s a random Type-Moon’s Fate/Extra booth.

There’s car on display as well as some figures. And announcement of Illya Prisma Racing figure.

Onward to Sofmap! There I found they’re displaying bonus tapestries without any coverings. That was nice. Can’t wait to get my hand on them.

I also found the mug cup which I’ve kind of planned to buy and then I went to Yuzusoft Shop.

I don’t actually remember where it is apart of the building says “May Peace Prevail On Earth”. Except it’s tiny so I regularly miss it. I didn’t actually want anything so it’s mostly just to see if there’s something I missed (and nope).

And that’s about it on my little trip yesterday. Oh, and it was closed by watching FSN HF3 thanks to good timing and empty seat.

Lastly, I noticed this time’s Popfes specifically says “summer” so there might be another one this year in winter.

Comic Market 97 Day 4

Ha, there’s no Day 4 for me. My list for this day is only Hisuitei and even then only the book so I’ll just wait for it to come up in Melonbooks.

This is probably the first time in years I don’t go anywhere on December 31st.

Comic Market 97 Day 3

So I departed on 10:10 and arrived at the event area at 11:05.

Except there’s still queue outside to enter Big Sight. That was new. Should’ve expected it for day 3 – the porn day (part 1?). It’s raining so it’s quite a bit colder than usual. I also didn’t bring umbrella.

Finally got inside at 11:35. Crowded as usual and I planned stuff incorrectly as it’s the opposite of the traffic flow. I should’ve learned this by now… but I keep forgetting about it.

I first hit Eroliya and there wasn’t much queue.

And then MeltdoWN COmet – with a bit of queue extending to outside the event hall. That was doubly annoying with me having to take roundabout route to hit the booth only to go back outside to get in the queue. At least it didn’t take too long.

Afterward I went to Animal Herb. No queue there.

There’s no queue on Egoistic Honey booth either.

There’s a small queue on Botsugo but it’s already expected. Thankfully it’s pretty fast this time.

After skipping few shutter circles, I arrived at Ties booth only to find out it’s completely sold out. I don’t remember if I’ve ever gotten anything directly from their booth.

I think I passed TwinBox before reaching Ties and saw it’s got pretty long queue so I skipped that.

I then went to clean up the larger circles, went to Pan no mimi first as surprisingly there isn’t much queue. It was around 12:20. Goods set was still available as well but I went with cheap option anyway.

Queued a bit on Suzuya only to have the book sold out few moments after I lined up. Whoops.

Line for Peach Candy was pretty short at around 12:25 so I lined up and safely bought the books. I think the goods set was still available the time.

I think I checked TwinBox again at the time and passed on it as the line was still pretty long.

I did queue on kinokonomi at 12:35. Thankfully it didn’t take too long at around 15-ish minutes.

I then proceeded to go to other halls with faint hope getting anything.

Surprisingly Kogemashita still has the book when I arrived at 13:15. Went to upstairs hall afterwards. That was pretty nice with escalator as opposed to sloped path for going between West Halls.

Arrived at Ice and Choco at 13:20. No queue here either.

Jumped to West hall again only to learn Megane Shoujo is sold out already. This one is as expected.

As the only remaining things on my list being Tinkle and TwinBox, I went back to the West 1 Hall. TwinBox sold out most of the books when I arrived at 13:35, leaving me with just one of the older books. I guess I’ll grab the rest later or something.

As for Tinkle, well, the line was pretty long, and pretty slow. I started queuing at 13:50 and I think the goods set was sold out just a few people in front of me. That was interesting and thankfully didn’t affect me as I only wanted the book. It was at 14:25 when I’m finally gotten my Tinkle stuff and then promptly went home.

Comic Market 97 Day 2

I slept late again previous night so I only woke up a bit before 10 which then promptly go to the station around 10:30 and arrived at 11:25.

Went to eefy booth first as they usually sold out pretty quickly but looking at the line, that just wasn’t really feasible so I went to Retro instead.

Arrived at Retro around 11:45 only to find out they’re sold out. Whoops. That wasn’t planned.

Then went to Mugendai and that was pretty easy. Then hit Kotatsu Room next, with pretty long but not too bad queue around 11:50 and was done at 12:05. Except I forgot to check my list and missed the two older books. Good job me.

Afterwards I went to upstairs halls for Takoyaki-batake and bought the new book. And as I mentioned in the post, unfortunately the other book I wanted to buy was sold out.

Around 12:25 I was back at Kotatsu Room queue and finished at 12:40. Not too bad overall though I noticed eefy was sold out šŸ™ƒ

So in the end I missed eefy which I hope will sell the book at stores except they sometimes don’t. I hope they do this time as the new book seems pretty thick.

As for Retro, it’s already up in Melonbooks, so, yay.

Comic Market 97 Day 1

It’s corporate booth day for me. Plus Kantoku. I departed around 11 and arrived around 12:30 after meeting a friend midway to get the cover he bought for me. Arrived first at Aomi to hand a friend a stuff for a friend (?).

Looked around a bit, forgotten about Ideabase stuff, then went to Big Sight hoping for some leftover Kantoku stuff but of course that doesn’t work as I was very late at past 13:00 when I arrived at the hall. Looked around a bit, bought the drink and then finally went home.

I should’ve written this post hours ago but I didn’t because I was half dead and tomorrow I’ll be half dead again because I should’ve slept so I can have 8 hours of sleep instead of 6.

Denkigai 2019 Winter

It’s Denkigai. It’s in Belle Salle Shinjuku Grand, where it was also held few years ago. It’s a nice place though mostly just for nostalgic reason.

I didn’t intend to buy anything there and just passing by before going to POP Fes. And ended up not buying anything except for a friend. Also got a chance to take a quick look at the booklet. Maybe I should buy it for once at next event. If they’re doing it again next year, that is.

9-nazotoki nazomeku nazonomachi

I’ve been playing some puzzles here and there during my whole life but this is probably the first one I actually paid good 3000 yen just to participate. And that it involves walking around Akiba. And in winter. And in Japanese.

So there are three parts, the first one was pretty straightforward, the second one was pretty confusing for me though now looking again it’s… pretty confusing. Someone smart should be able to solve it without hints but I needed a lot for the second part. All of them, in fact. The third one is even worse for me as I was dead frozen at the time. At least I cleared the one last part without relying on hint.

Also not much an excuse but my phone battery was dead for second half and it’s done mostly outside I probably should’ve went in to the cafe and solve it slowly inside or something. But still, the phone situation was pretty bad. Even worse I needed to listen to something. And I don’t usually carry earphones around.

It wasn’t even planned. I just toyed with the idea playing but never really intended to – hence no extra preparation.

But hey, at least I cleared it.

Timeline:

  • 15:00: start
  • 15:40: first part done
  • 17:00: second part done
  • 17:20: third part done

Type-Moon Museum Goods

The museum is a thing. A bunch of Type-Moon related materials will be there. Not sure what’s the deal with the different themes.

And the goods is also a thing. It says 21 types of tapestries total but not much other info apart of the five images they’ve published so far. I don’t know if I’ll even go to the event. Maybe if I feel like wasting 4k-ish for the round trip and the ticket.

And looking closer, Arcueid’s eyes in the first image are kind of scary o_o

Digest Vol. 113: And done!

Preface

One day late because I spent the whole night cleaning up and arranging stuff. Not even done yet. I also have a backlog of over 4000 unread feed items.

Eroge playthrough

Barely any progress because of events and stuff.

Non-eroge stuff

A bit late but went as usual. Cleared up some manga while waiting at the events.

Wasting money

With all the events, I think I didn’t miss too far off from my original budget. Slightly better, even.

Definitely the lowest spending between last few event months.

Unexpectedly sold a bunch of CDs in YJA. And even a doujin which I mistakenly bought twice. Sold it for a 50yen profit.

Overall, I bought 672,000 yen worth of stuff and sold them back for 550,000 yen. Well, that’s just the rough number with conservative approximation for original stuff cost. Even then, at 80% of original spending, I think it’s pretty good.

As mentioned before, I’ll be putting up more stuff for auction so my balance should be even better or at least not getting worse for the rest of the month.

Events log

Denkigai 2017 Summer

As most of the stuff I wanted are available for order online, I didn’t rush this time around. Arrived around 8 AM.

Queued first for Alcot. It was pretty bad. Apparently they have some kind of trouble at the beginning. Too few hours until finally gotten my stuff.

Picked up minori stuff from someone and then walked around after grabbing Hatsujou Sprinkle drink first.

And then ended up buying more stuff than I initially planned :D

C92 day 1

As I didn’t have any high priority stuff planned for corporate booths, I arrived at around 2:30 PM. Most of the booths I visited have no lines except for Sprite and Kadokawa.

Looked around a bit and then back to first Sprite and lastly Kadokawa. I think I still queued a bit for Kadokawa at past 3 PM.

C92 day 2

Spent whole day clearing up RSS feed backlog and planning for day 3.

C92 day 3

First train as usual. Got into hall 1/2/3 at 10:15, visited Yukie.

Was quick-ish. Or at least didn’t feel too slow. Then grabbed whatever I could from that area. Shiromochi Sakura surprisingly didn’t have line. On the other hand Yuizaki had quite a line. Probably getting the Elf pillow cover. Most of wall circles had line as usual though I didn’t pay too much attention.

Jumped to hall 4/5/6, cleared whatever I could. Notable long line for this area was Shino. Or more like I didn’t know how long it would be and apparently it’s pretty long.

Done with that hall, went to hall 7. I didn’t get lost this time around. Takoyaki booth was relatively quiet. So was Nanao Naru. Except that one was because most of the stuff were already sold out. Whoops. At least I only planned to get the set. Quite a long line for tiv so I skipped it.

Back to hall 1/2/3, cleared whatever I could. Notable unexpected long lines were Anmi (Mashu pillow cover?) and eterna-radiare (same). Unfortunately some of the booths haven’t started selling the book without sets so I skipped quite a lot here.

Finally went to station to head for Akiba around 1 PM. Probably my earliest ever.

Later I find out Pan goods set lasted quite a long time. Whoops.

Arrived at Akiba, fetched K-Books tapestries. Not much queue. I even went back to grab more Chikotam tapestry to be sold later :>

Went to Jiku-Chu hoping for this tapestry but neither of two stores have it ;_;

A bit lost finding Tenplant store but then found it out somehow and thankfully it was free entry. I guess everyone went to Melonbooks because it’s got lines just to enter the store.

Talking about Melonbooks, checked out the new Uribou store just to find out there’s new lewd Pan tapestry but already sold out (惎ļ½„_ļ½„)惎ļøµ ā”»ā”ā”»

And that’s it.

Digest Vol. 105: Abroad edition

Preface

On time once in a while. Mainly because I don’t have much else to do. And it just happens I’m testing a Realforce 87U which for some reason someone left here.

Eroge playthrough

Didn’t play at all this last few days! And won’t be for another two weeks! ;_;

I think I got about halfway through Yoshino route before going. Right before the (apparently) most interesting part. No, not an H scene.

At current rate I’ll probably finish it in two or three weeks once I resume.

Probably will play either Kamiyaba or Mamiya.

Not-eroge stuff

Finished imouto zetsumetsu 2! Looks like it’ll end in another one or two more volumes if following current pattern?

As it’s the latest released, I switched to something else. Another long titled light novel, Yuusha to Maou ga Dengeki Doumei (…etc). Looks quite fun so far.

I should have quite a lot of time to read while I’m away. Hopefully I can at least finish all I currently own.

Still okay-ish with anime as well (except haven’t watched this week’s).

Wasting money

I think I’ve finished the whole K-Books tapestries from Chikotam. Except the clear poster. Clear poster is just dumb. I doubt I’ll get more of it especially if it costs a lot. Maybe if someone put it up for like 1000…

There isn’t much else apart of next month’s bonus stuff which are quite a lot. At least still less than I originally allocated.

Digest Vol. 98 – What’s sleep

Preface

Aaaaaaaa.

Events

Eshi100 (and other)

Departed around 9 AM, waited a bit until it opens, headed immediately to goods shop queue. Queued for an hour, bought stuff, looked around, picked up some mini shikishis.

Next headed to Moeoh gallery at around 3 PM. Not too big but sufficiently interesting. Can use a bit bigger print though. Also, free drink. Probably should’ve came a bit later for Chikotam version of message paper.

Comic1-11 / Character1 2017

First train as usual, immediately guided to wait inside the building. How nice of the staff. Got in at 10:38.

Hit Tateha first. No queue.

Followed by Yukie. A bit of queue, took 15 minutes.

Went to non-wall circles and cleared up as many as I could until 11:05.

Headed to Character1, Saga Planets first. About 15 minutes of queue.

Then Palette. Shugaten tapestry sold out. Wtf. No queue.

No queue for majority of booths in my plan. Nor at K-Books.

Back to Comic1 at 11:53.

Still long queue at Shiratama. Matsurija as well.

Cleared up the rest of my list and headed to Sprite booth at Character1.

Queuing at Sprite took about 50 minutes.

Packed up, and finally went back home.

Dying because of lack of sleep.

Eroge playthrough

Nothing. Help.

Thankfully it’s golden week so I can kind of focus (latter half of) this week.

Wasting money

Surprisingly sold quite a few items this week despite Comic1 and everything.

Ended up spending quite a lot last month. Thankfully compensated by selling all the things. Should continue selling more stuff.

Because I ended up spending much less than initially budgeted for Comic1, my monthly balance for April is surprisingly positive for once. And so my streak of positive monthly balance continues…

That said, I’m severely running out of physical space. I need to speed up my pace of selling stuff.

Digest Vol. 81 – Freedom

Events

I should’ve written down log of the events I went to so I can reference it when needed.

28th

Denkigai day. And also first day of Palette Winter Party. I went to Denkigai first since I’ve got help for the other event. Well, I also gotten help for Denkigai.

First train, arrived at 5-ish? There are already quite a lot of people queuing. Afterwards around 6 (I think) they did a draw to decide the order of lines to enter the event.

Queuing for Sagaplanets, which after discovering the purchase limit I left the line because I’ve got another help there and I was only there in case extra purchases is needed.

Moved on to feng, bought some stuff and bought a bit more stuff at another booths (including preordering for Whirlpool’s Nekonin). Waited a bit more (11-ish?) until ALcot’s line cleared up and bought the Yomegami OST, last item on my list for the event.

Thankfully the purchase limit for Palette’s event was just enough as well so I went on to Akiba to meet and pickup the stuff.

Thus the event for the day ended.

Later I learned Palette has enough stuff in stock so it should’ve went all right anyway. I think.

29th

Comiket 1st day. With help of magical paper I started the day a bit later at 8.

Went to Russell first. Done pretty quickly as expected.

Moved on to Windmill. There’s a bit of line but didn’t take too long either.

Checked out Toypla and the line was stupid long already so I moved on to Melonbooks.

There’s quite a line at Melonbooks as well but was still manageable. Kinokonomi set was sold out pretty quickly but I didn’t even plan to buy it so it’s not quite relevant to me.

Done with the floor (sans Toypla), I ran to east hall. First to go was ke-ta. Long line. Waited for an hour and done at 12.

Kantoku is the next one, a bit long as well but faster than ke-ta. Took about 20 minutes.

Obtained Cat=Katz book as well and lastly Tsubasu’s book which was consigned at another circle. A bit surprised that the book was still available. That saved me effort for day 3.

Back to west hall, this time the first floor where August and Kadokawa were located. August line seemed all right so I went there first. Afterwards I checked Kadokawa and it’s still pretty long.

Fourth floor I went for Toypla again. Still a long line but as I don’t have much left to do I just queued and bought the stuff I wanted.

Later back to Kadokawa at 14:07 and done at 14:30. Went to Akiba to meet people (and stuff exchange), followed by going to Sagaplanets shop to waste even more money and thus concludes the day (kind of).

30th

I didn’t go to any event. Did stop by at Shinjuku to pick up some stuff and preorder Nine though.

31st

Main day! First train as usual. Instead of going to east area queue, I went to west queue instead. The queue for going to east, that is. Things I learned:

  • no rushing (the area is pretty close to station)
  • convenient access to convenience store
  • and toilets (though really shouldn’t need to use it)
  • and McD (lol)
  • and a less cold area (like, inside a building)
  • which later went inside building few minutes before opening, saved me from being frozen even more
  • with net result of entering the hall only few minutes after opening.

10/10, will do again.

Queued Yukie first because I can. Obtained everything without a hitch.

Planned to go to Pan immediately except the fastest route is still not available so stopped by a few circles on the way.

…which then found out Pan’s line is already stupid long ;_;

Given up, went to a few other circles before coming back to Pan at 11-ish. Hug pillow cover was sold out at about 11:20 while I’m still far behind at the queue. Whoops.

Left immediately and cleared up whatever I can clear up, pretty much optimizing for shortest route.

Other notable stuff:

  • One hour queue for Tinkle (12:30 to 13:30)
  • Yaki Ubu stuff sold out pretty quickly (around 12)
  • Takoyaki’s himself is still relatively fine though.
  • Anmi line was stupid long. And slow (iirc).
  • No line at Nanao Naru.
  • Shiromochi Sakura also went out quickly.
  • Karory seemed to hold up a bit longer than I thought. Except it’s still sold out when I’m done with Tinkle.
  • Muririn went out quickly as well. I did manage to grab the very last book though (complete with an RPS). Well, half of the original plan. Will grab the other book later.
  • Riichu held up pretty long that I still got both books I wanted (it was around 14-ish)

Met up with people before finally went back and had a good sleep.

Conclusion

Missed Pan stuff ;-;

Eroge Playthrough

Barely any progress!

As expected. Still cleaning up a bit after the event so didn’t play much at Sunday either. Hopefully will be back full speed today (after getting some sleep).

Looking Back at 2016

I finished 15 titles in 2016. Some of them are single routes or mini fandisc though. Excluding them, I finished about 11 titles. Really need to pick up the pace otherwise I won’t finish my backlog ever…

Going Forward

I have no idea yet. I’ve been trying to buy less games but as far as I can tell, it doesn’t quite work. At least I don’t have that many planned for January, February, and April.

No, don’t ask me about March aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I think I’ll cancel Newrin after all.

Wasting Money

Ended up spending slightly less than I originally planned. Kind of. Hug pillow cover from Pan will probably balance things out if she ever sells it at store.

Weird thing is because the month has just started and I did sell stuff at YJA, I ended up at negative spending for this month’s first weekend! Ha ha ha.

Assuming nothing stupid comes up this month, I should be recovering pretty well this month. Bright future ahead!

(I hope)

Digest Vol. 80 – That was short

Events

Now I think again I probably shouldn’t have pre-ordered a bunch of C91 stuff and wait until it’s actually over instead. At least some of the stuff I pre-ordered have clear files bonus. I should’ve waited for the others. I think my current “loss” is at about 6000. I’ll probably end up doing the same for at least half of them but at current rate it’s just giving up without fight.

I think I’ve came to this conclusion last year but apparently completely forgotten about it :D

Eroge Playthrough

Finished Gakkou no Seiiki. It sure is nukige. There’s barely any story this time unlike the previous two. Well, Maika route was pretty nice though. Also can use a bit more of the Dark Maid-chan.

With that out, I didn’t have plan for the next one. I didn’t even expect to actually clear both Yorino and Gakkou no Seiiki before this year ends.

After various considerations, I decided to start Moteyaba. Looking pretty good so far. The art is still a bit off at times but otherwise fine. Meguri is especially cute \o/

Route plan is Kanae ā†’ Aoba ā†’ Maina ā†’ Miya ā†’ Meguri. And then sub-routes. That is assuming no forced routes.

I don’t think I can finish this before this year ends especially with all the incoming events.

Wasting Money

With all C91 pre-orders, I spent quite a lot this week. Cuffs store starting the pre-order also isn’t helping. Nor is eroge weekend though there’s only one this month thanks to all the delays.

That and the certain cover also hit my wallet pretty hard. Oh and Toypla re-releasing Hanasaki Workspring! tapestries as higher quality version was also pretty bad. I went to Akiba to get them and thanks to extra spare time I had I ended up getting another Moteyaba tapestry at K-Books. Whoops.

On the brighter side, I sold quite a few stuff at YJA this week. Only covered about one third of what I spent though :D

That also concludes my YJA stuff this year. Heck this is the last post of this year now I look at the calendar.

And I still haven’t started selling doujinshi and other miscellaneous stuff…

If everything goes as planned, I’ll come out of this month barely alive. I just need to remember to not do anything extra.

Digest Vol. 79 – Continuing to another prologue…

Preface

Now with (over) 100% more headers! I don’t know why I haven’t done this from beginning. My writing is still shit as usual though. I know it’s shit because I don’t really want to read it unless I’m trying to recallĀ specific information from here :D

I also suck at writingĀ title.

Eroge Playthrough

Managed to finish Soreyori no Prologue. At 12 days, it’s one of the faster playthrough I’ve done.

The story is sufficiently good which is the main reason I can finish it pretty quickly.

H-scenesĀ can use a bit of… improvements. Oversized boobs and my general dislike of the character design are expectedĀ but I don’t find the art style match withĀ the most of the h-scenes. Some parts also felt quite… nasty. Weird sound effects isn’t helping either.

Story and soundtracks helped though! It’s one rare case where I bought this by anything but character design.

As previously mentioned, now I’m starting Gakkou no Seiiki. Gotta play something actually recent once in a while. Well, next erogeĀ release day is this week so it’s not quite latest.

Wasting Money

When I thought everything is going well… someone just need to sell one of the rarest Chikotam hug pillow cover at less absurd price. Still ended pretty absurd and no one up-absurded me (?). At over 22k, it’s my most expensive cover yet, taking the title over from previous holder, Primal x Hearts’ Kanna Kana (19k).

Pan and Yukie announcing relatively interesting covers for C91 isn’t helping though. Those and Mamiya’s Nekoto, Senmomo’s Ino, Otome Domain’s Kazari, Senren Banka’s Murasame, and of course Sakusaku’s Tina.Ā I’m counting seven already which means 80k+. Whoops,Ā shit. I think I’ll drop some.

Really though, at over 90, it’s just not realistic for me to keep all my current one. I simply have to dropĀ some. There’s no way around that. Even then it’s still pretty difficult because unlike tapestries, I don’t go around blindly but with slightly more consideration. Slightly.

As usual, I also need to filter out more tapestries as well. This one is easier but the sheer amount is a bit overwhelming. Still doing it slowly. Probably need to pick the pace up a bit.

At this rate I might as well just Suruga-Ya them all just to get more space. Or set much low price. Probably the latter sinceĀ the former is a (relatively) ripoff.

I think I can manage to survive another month…

Digest Vol. 61 – And done

Yay! Now I can sleep in peace.

Skipped first day because nothing particularly interesting but went second day because there isn’t company booths for last day this time. And then ke-ta’s line was pretty long. At least I got all the stuff.

Last day, Pan didn’t prepare enough pillow covers so I wasn’t able to get it ;_; Here’s hoping she reselling it later. Thanks to that, I practically started this time’s last day Comiket at 11:30. At least I’m not alone this time which is also why I waited until it’s really sold out instead of backing off after 20-ish minutes of barely any progresses.

Nothing much on eroge side as I can’t really concentrate thanks to all the events and the preparations. Finished Rina’s route and now at Shizuku (I think?).

On finance side, it should be kind of yellow next week. And hopefully green next month ā”(惄)ā”Œ

Digest Vol. 58 – All the Chikotams

6am! Just finished Makoto’s route. Or the part of her route? Honestly speaking, I’m not sure where I am at the moment. Unlocked scenes count doesn’t match with number of scenes (or at least its hint) and the ending is a bit too open. From light analysis I did (just now, half awake) from extra page placeholders and opening movie hints I think I’m 25% done. That took me 16 days total. Extrapolating the number results in depressing number of days I need to finish the whole game… which is another 7… weeks. Wat.

Number of references and technical terms were a bit too much for me so the progress was much slower than I hoped. There were some additional distractions as well which slowed me down even further. The latter won’t change much for next few weeks but I’m slowly getting used to the former so it should be faster.

Chikotam-illustrated new games were announced this week. Yes, games, not game. First from the usual Parasol (thank god) and the other one unexpectedly from Windmill. Apparently the latter were already known from an event few months ago and I was just simply missed it. For unknown reason Narumi Yuu is also doing both games. Oh well.

Still on Chikotam, random impulse (ha ha ha) made me buy the rest of Parasol hug pillow cover drawn by Chikotam. Waiting for arrival of last one and then I’ll take photo of them. I’m also completing another type of stuff from Parasol with the last part should also be arriving sometime this week.

Those stuff included, and another “completion” thing I’m going for brought me down by about 40k jpy. That forced me to slim down Cuffs and Hulotte purchases. I just hope I don’t regret it later. I don’t think I will for this one for good reasons. Pre-order for Denkigai stuff has also been started and it pretty much follows last weeks list with inclusion of Whirlpool and exclusion of Alcot. May or may not buy the bag/pillow cover multi-function item, depending on how much I spend for other stuff. It’s still too early to say. Perhaps in three weeks (like, once the main events have passed). Thankfully the pre-order period is until end of August which is plenty of time.

Still on track to green finance though probably not as green as I’m hoping.

Digest Vol. 56 – Preparing for Events

Finished Kurafuta as planned. As expected from winner of Moegame Award, Ero (Pink) category, it doesn’t hold back in term of ero. Well, almost, since I half expected it to contain Okano’s mini route as well considering she’s got her own tapestry at one point. Not that I like her, just a bit curious. The harem route is also shorter than I expected. Now I think again, Yomeyaba is actually better in this sense. Shrug.

Started Sakuuta. Seems pretty interesting. Not sure if there’s any forced route but currently trying to go to Makoto’s route. Still on common route. Relatively interesting. It’s got so many awards so it better be. Unfortunately the game system itself is a bit lacking. Notably missing is window resize and backlog jump. I also can’t disable the cursor auto move which I find annoying.

First week of July has passed and only a month left until Denkigai and Comiket. Two more weeks until Denkigai online store opens. And K-Books. And Cuffs. RIP wallet. According to my accounting sheet I don’t have enough money for next month events. Hopefully there won’t be too many interesting stuff…

Summer Events List

Fuck this shit, I'm going home.

Second worst event time is coming \o/ (the worst is winter comiket, by the way)

Oh and the photo above is last year’s C88 circle ticket holder queue (aka fuckers who ruin comiket even further).

Denkigai

  • Whirlpool. Hug pillow cover from Lunaris Filia.
  • minori. As mentioned before, hug pillow cover of one of sub-heroines of Tsumi no Hikari Rendezvous. And then usual tapestry for new game.
  • Circus. Hug pillow cover of Ame!
  • Melonbooks. Tapestries and hug pillow cover. TakayaKi one is kind of interesting.
  • Whirlpool. Hug pillow cover, CDs, tapestries, and more hug pillow covers.
  • Amuse Craft / Hearts. Hmmmmmmm.
  • Saga Planets. Safe!
  • Alcot. Safe!
  • Purplesoftware. Safe?

C90 / Doujin

C90 / Company

  • [partial?] Sprite. Usual Aokana goodies.
  • Circus. The same as denkigai. Not sure why they even bother making two separate pages.
  • [partial] Kadokawa. Usual stuff.
  • Melonbooks. Goods sets.
  • Windmill. New type of tapestry, and others.
  • Lashinbang. Usual lineup, usual stuff. Sure wish they use double suede :(
  • Palette. Um, I forgot about this.
  • NanaWind. Together with Palette, might as well grab the set.
  • Himekuri365 (tapestries lineup). Now with tapestries. Double suede Yukie \o/

Digest Vol. 46 – All the stuff

Events are over! Freedom! Yay. A bunch of tapestries. My counter is hitting 400 soon (including sold ones). Still hasn’t prepared anything for selling some of them.

Managed to get most of planned stuff at Comic1/Character1. There are quite a good amount of leftover for goods from Purple Software and Circus which means I failed my gamble and paying almost 2000 extra. Oh well.

On eroge, finished Sophia’s route. Surprisingly shorter than I expected. Not that I complain. Now at Kururu.

Digest Vol. 45 – Break 5 (last)

Finally freed. And now incoming comic1/character1. Should be able to interleave with World Election in between. Just hit Sofia’s fourth-ish H-scene and finally entering the main story of her.

Technically speaking I didn’t spend too much for porn-related stuff but there are just so many other unrelated spending causing me to fail saving much this month.

Next month should be betterā„¢.

Digest Vol. 44 – Break 4

Early as promised last week.

I think I played for like one hour total this week. Passed through Sofia’s second H-Scene which is almost halfway? I sure am hoping to clear at least one route before May.

character1 is coming and companies have started publishing their stuff. Note that I only write the ones I have remote interest in.

There’s also the usual problem of whether to getting the stuff online or just grab them at the event. I think Circus stuff should be safe. That will save me some money. Here’s the exact numbers:

  • Event: 12000 + 4500 = 16500
  • Store: (16500 * 1.08) * 0.99 = 17642
  • Savings: 1142

With the last 0.99 is accounting for credit card cashback. 1142 is still a lot, I’d say.

And then there’s Purple Software. That one is even worse as it involves postage as well. I don’t know if the event price will exclude tax or not but if it does:

  • Event: 3500 (or 3780)
  • Store: (3500 * 1.08 + 600) * 0.99 = 4337
  • Saving: 837 (or 557)

;_; (or 557). And I don’t have idea how the sales goes and quick look at the official tweet doesn’t indicate good thing.

And both combined for a total of 1979 (惎ļ¾Ÿ 惮ļ¾Ÿ)惎ļøµ ā”»ā”ā”»

Of course I’m too lazy and went online for both ćƒ½(Ā“ćƒ¼ļ½€)ļ¾‰ …and then regretting later finding out getting them both is easy. At least I’m prepared this time.

One more week until I can go back to usual flow …or not, thanks to comic1/character1 and a bunch of other events the following two weeks.
