Denkigai 2017 Winter
The place this time is barely within my walking distance at around 4 km. There’s no good train route though so I figured might as well walk there. Took about an hour and arrived at 06:20. Frozen outside for an hour until they let people in around 07:30.
Opened at 09:00 because they can. Went to Whirlpool booth first and safely got all the stuff. Then queued minori for a while. Walked around until I remembered I needed to grab some Lose stuff from my piled up postcard which allowed me quite a few lucky draw attempts.
Met up with a friend, walked around the event area a bit more and then went to Akiba for the next event.
Akiba Pop Festival
A joint event between Onsen Radio, Palette, and Purple Software. A hell of queue for goods sale. One big line outside, and then another long line hidden inside. Took about an hour and half. At least I got the stuff. It seems to last quite a while. Having them reliably selling the goods after the event helps reducing scalpers.
Bought some water and looked around inside before queuing so off I went after getting the stuff.
That more or less concludes the first events day.
C93 Day 1
First train! Aimed A.M.R. (Ikegami Akane) for first target. I think this is the second time I went first day for doujin area. Usually it’s either company booths or coming late or not at all.
Frozen outside as usual, got in around 10:30-ish, I think? No queue for her booth. Proceeded to clear up everything else on my list for doujin area. Not much queue except for Eefy (Shino).
Done at around 11:00, went to Red Cross bus for blood donation. Usually I do it in Akiba but I got a bit curious how the bus thingy looks inside. Afterwards met up with a friend to pick up stuff he got for me from August booth. Followed by clearing up company booths.
With Kadokawa for the last… except it didn’t happen because too long lines. I figured I can just check again late in day 3 because the one I wanted isn’t too rare and will be available after event.
That concludes day 1.
Oh, and as mentioned above I didn’t even need to go early this day because she’s selling all the stuff on Booth as well.
C93 day 2

Only wanted Kantoku book so didn’t bother going.
C93 day 3
Not first train! I think this is my first time not going first train for main porn day. Mainly because there’s no interesting goods this time around. Also it’s cold.
Departed around 10:00, arrived 11:00 and got in around 11:30, I think? I forgot to take note for this one.
I think I went to Oshaban first because he’s located in area with least amount of stuff in my list and he isn’t selling the book after the event.
The original goal was so I don’t need to go back and forth between hall 4/5/6 and 1/2/3. After skipping the ones with longer queue in the first hall (4/5/6), I went to hall 7/8 for the single circle in my list (Studio S.D.T.). As the long queue in first hall was still long, I went to 1/2/3 and cleared up whichever had minimal line.
And then I went back and forth between 1/2/3 and 4/5/6 anyway because the long lines were still long =| Doesn’t help I ended up not getting anything from the ones with long lines in hall 4/5/6. Shouldn’t have bothered going there at all. The last trip was even worse because I should’ve checked Twitter first as it turned out they’re sold out about 30 minutes before I arrived to their booth.
As I finally cleared 4/5/6, I went around in 1/2/3, hoping for shorter lines. Somehow Hisuitei line was the shortest. Not only that, I ended up getting the whole goods set instead of just the book. With extra mini shikishi as well while at it. Oh well. And then queued for eterna-radiare which line has reduced quite a bit.
Lastly went to Pan no Mimi which was awesomely slow. No prepared goods set helped slowing down the line, I guess. I only got the books though because I don’t need more calendars and unusable bag (for me).
Extra aside, talking about bag, the only useful bag for me is shoulder bag. The long one which can be put crossed. And not quite messenger bag but just simple bag with side of A3. It’s so useful because I can fold it when not needed and unlike messenger bag I can put up to B1 tapestry without problem. The only such bag I have is getting a bit worn out…
Cleared up Pan, went to grab some food and headed to company booths to grab book from Kadokawa. Except it sold out whoops. I think it was around 15:00.
With nothing else in my list, go home I did.
Or so I thought. As it turned out, I completely forgot about Anmi. After I arrived my home station, that is.

The calendar is pretty good though wish it’s per month instead of per two months. Half the fun (on the flip side, the fun lasts twice as long each).

August C93 set. Now I look again, I don’t need the calendar. The preview book isn’t new either. As for shikishi, I’m not planning to play the game. It’s mainly for the drama CD. A relatively expensive one, all things considered.

Early Denkigai official tapestry for the book cover from Koikoro. Somehow still available when I visited the booth. Perhaps they printed more this time around because it’s usually sold out whenever I checked the place. Bought at the event because slightly cheaper.
Great print quality on double suede material. And slightly sharper this time because of upgraded print method. I think this is how A&J has been printing their stuff?

Printed by A&J, great print quality as usual on double suede material. Though seems like the cut isn’t quite well done or I just need hang it a bit longer so it straightens out.
Also hasn’t seen “cloth poster” type for a long while now. Wish it’s plain tapestry with pipes on both sides.

Daily life
Events week! No auction week! Yay.
Comiket costed about 55k yen and Denkigai + Palette about 31k yen. Combined gives a total of almost 90k yen. Not too bad, I think? Safely cleared saving target for December as well. Only getting one pillow cover certainly helped.
And now it’s January. The tapestries from Tinkle Position will hurt quite a bit. There’s also some preorders for Koikoro, Nekonin, and 9-Sorairo. Oh, and Denkigai tapestries as well.
If I calculated correctly, I should have about 30k yen left for extra wasting. Hopefully it’s enough…
Either that or I can sell some stuff from auction.
Talking about selling stuff, I really should ship the books to Suruga-Ya. And maybe the shikishi as well. The clickpost box plan ended up being a chore because I need to extend the boxes. Not like I sold any anyway. Just one coming for next week. Thankfully it’s the most expensive one so at least it’s a bit rewarding.
Also need to sell some more pillow covers so I can fit all I have in two boxes. Meanwhile, tapestries =]

I thought I could make some good progress by taking days off! But I didn’t! Yay. Oh well.

Non-eroge stuff
Mainly because of this. First FGO where I needed to actually read the main story so I don’t need to skip again for second part which had to be completed before end of last year.
And then I lost good chunk of day by watching some Star Wars and Garupan. Good stuff but the round trip took over an hour total which is annoying. Not to mention it’s cold.
